The Macmillan connection

Shelagh Hopkinson (bottom) Area Fund Raising manager has been working well to promote the Great Milk (stout) Ride over a widening range of events including the York Cycle Show and It's a Knockout, both at York's famous Knavesmire racecourse. We look forward to even more help to help Macmillan Cancer Support in the future. Unfortunateley Shelagh is away on a (un-sponsored) cycling holiday in Poland on the 7th, so Roohi Lupton, Community Fundraiser works from the york office and will be attending the 2008 event to help present the medals, certificates and Macmillan "goodies".

This morning Shelagh and yours truly, were interviewed live on Harrogate's local radio station Stray FM by Chris Bell (top), who was keen to learn all about the Great Milk (stout) Ride and joined in our aim to raise over last year's £42,500.
