We are extremely sorry to hear of the death of John Drewery of Dacre Banks on Friday 15th February from cancer.
John, Elaine and their sons Jason and Jonty have been supporters of GMsR since its inception. In the early years John regularly provided a free taxi service, through his “Chauff-Four” private hire service to anyone attending the annual Presentation Nights at the Birch Tree and Half Moon Inns. He was also a regular marshal on Ride days. Even since being diagnosed, he enjoying being part of the team of volunteers, without whom the Great Milk (stout) Ride could not take place. John will be sadly missed by all.
We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to his wife Elaine and her sons and their families.
